Cloud Platform Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Engineering Leader to drive our team's technical vision and expertise in cloud infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and technical guidance to the engineering team, focusing on system design, code review, and ensuring the health of the systems built by the team.
- Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in cloud platform engineering to support large-scale initiatives.
- Prioritize work for the engineering team, making informed decisions based on business constraints while ensuring timely deliverables and high-quality software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gain alignment and monitor progress, staying up-to-date with new technologies to enable the team's roadmap.
Required Skills:
- Analytical skills to translate complex feature requirements into technical use cases.
- Ambiguity management when working with AWS/Azure/Google reliable cloud platforms at scale.
- Automation and orchestration skills using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and SaltStack.
- Collaboration with data science/data engineering teams using tools such as Python, R, Java/Scala, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to justify decisions with solid rationale.
