Our cloud operations team is seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our ranks.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in IT engineering, preferably with a strong background in cloud technologies and platforms. Experience with Azure is essential, as we rely on this technology to power our business.

A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud governance, best practices, and policies within Azure. They will also possess problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

In addition to these technical requirements, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to support cloud solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in IT engineering.
  • Extensive experience in cloud technologies and platforms, with a focus on Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud governance, best practices, and policies within Azure.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant cloud and/or technology discipline certification (e.g. AZ-104).
  • Scripting skills in a relevant language (e.g. PowerShell) and/or experience with cloud automation tools.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in storage technologies (SAN, NAS, DAS, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of storage protocols (NFS, SMB, etc.).
  • Experience with storage management tools (EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, etc.).
  • Ability to design, build, and deploy storage solutions.
  • Experience with backup and recovery of data.
  • Experience with optimizing, identifying storage solutions.
  • Resolving 3rd line storage related incident support calls.
