Backend Cloud-Native Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend & Cloud-Native Engineer with expertise in backend development and strong knowledge of cloud-native ecosystems. The ideal candidate should have deep Kubernetes expertise, proven experience in automation using Ansible, and solid competence with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.

Primary responsibilities include conceptualizing, developing, and implementing robust, high-performance deployment systems for highly available Kubernetes (K8s) environments. Additionally, the engineer will design, develop, and optimize resilient and scalable microservices architectures that form the foundation of modern applications.

The successful candidate will establish, maintain, and continuously improve fully automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration, testing, and deployment of microservices within Kubernetes systems. They will also lead and execute the migration of existing Ansible-based deployment systems to modern, K8s-native CI/CD solutions to maximize efficiency and scalability.

Key Competencies:

  • Profound Experience: Extensive and proven experience (at least 5 years) in software development, ideally in backend development and/or cloud-native technologies.
  • Designing & building data pipelines on a global scale, ranging from small to huge datasets.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s), including the development of K8s Operators and a strong understanding of the K8s ecosystem.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience in configuring and utilizing Ansible for automation tasks.

Qualifications include a proactive approach, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to independently and creatively solve complex technical challenges. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively within a team, and to convey complex technical information clearly are also essential.
