Senior Credit Analyst Position

This role plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) management services to various clients.

The position involves analyzing financial data to prepare risk assessments and recommendations for a portfolio of clients across different types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing client financial data to prepare comprehensive reports addressing credit risk and transaction risk.
  • Conducting thorough research and due diligence on clients as necessary, and challenging proposed credit ratings and limits.
  • Maintaining accurate records of risk exposures and counterparty creditworthiness, raising alerts as needed to ensure prompt action.
  • Providing recommendations for risk limits, one-off transactions, and credit ratings to risk officers with delegated authority.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to coordinate credit requests and achieve business objectives.

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to read and understand complex documentation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing global teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of overall credit analysis experience in the Financial Institution space.
  • CA degree or MBA (Finance) from a reputable institution, with additional certifications like FRM or CFA beneficial.
