Automation Testing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Specialist to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.
  • The successful candidate will develop scalable mobile automation tests with Appium or native mobile tools.
  • This role involves writing clean, maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript and implementing BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin if required.
  • Integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc. is also crucial.
  • Conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 4+ years of experience building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Solid experience in mobile automation preferably using Appium or equivalent tool.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies including functional, regression, smoke, and integration.
  • Proficient in writing BDD scenarios if the tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of REST API testing tools like Postman and JMeter.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
