Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

This role is responsible for supporting the financial operations of our organization. The job involves daily income audits, cashiering duties, and accounting responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily sales reports and circulate them among relevant stakeholders.
  • Run day-end audits in Jonas System and generate necessary reports by departments/outlets.
  • Audit all revenue transactions for accuracy and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Prepare and issue management reports as required.
  • Reconcile credit cards daily and post to the system.
  • Ensure proper backup and authorization for rebates and discounts.
  • Accounting and Record-Keeping:
  • Collect and count cashier envelopes daily with a witness.
  • Record all amounts received in the General Cashier Daily Report.
  • Manage and reconcile petty cash, disburse cash after verifying requests, and maintain a register of petty cash advances.
  • Supervise outlet cashiering staff to ensure effective operations.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with financial reporting.
  • Assist the chief accountant with annual and interim audits.
  • Maintain proper filing and ensure adherence to record retention policies.
  • Support the finance team with general accounting duties and financial documentation.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of related experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Frequent sitting, use of hands, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally standing, walking, and performing tasks that require physical exertion.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and property management systems.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to assess financial information.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
