Women's Western Fashion Designer

We are seeking an experienced and creative Fashion Designer to join our team. As a fashion designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative western silhouettes.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent design skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Seasonal Collections: Create stylish and on-trend designs that align with brand aesthetics and fashion trends.
  • Technical Illustrations: Produce detailed illustrations, mood boards, and technical sketches using Adobe Photoshop & Corel Draw.
  • Materials Sourcing: Source and experiment with fabrics, trims, and embellishments suitable for both western and fusion styles.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the in-house team to translate design concepts into samples, ensuring fittings, pattern corrections, and fabric usage meet quality and cost standards.
Trend & Market Research:
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay informed about global and Indian trends in western & fusion fashion.
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor collections and contribute ideas for differentiation.
Brand Aesthetics:
  • Maintain Brand Identity: Ensure every design reflects elegance, comfort, and commercial appeal while maintaining Fashion Dwar's identity.
  • Quality and Detail: Maintain modern yet premium quality and attention to detail in all designs.
Key Skills & Tools:
  • Software Proficiency: Strong command of Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw.
  • Fabric Knowledge: Cotton, Rayon, Muslin, Chanderi, Silk, Blends, and their drapes.
  • Design Expertise: Western silhouettes, dresses, coord sets, fusion wear, and strong visualization skills.
  • Garment Construction: Knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and embroidery placement.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • Professional Experience: 2–5 years of experience in women's western or fusion fashion.
  • Portfolio: Previous work portfolio is required.
