ServiceNow Developer Position Overview

Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team in a remote position. This role requires 4-5 hours of overlap with PST (9:30pm- 2:30am IST).

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and have 5+ years of experience in software development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Complex Business Processes: Utilize Flow Designer, client/server scripts, and ACLs to create efficient business processes.
  • Implement Approval Workflows and Catalog Items: Develop approval workflows, dynamic forms, SLAs, and catalog items to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with Third-Party Systems: Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems, set up metrics, and track performance.
  • Lead Instance Upgrades and Patch Management: Oversee instance upgrades, patch management, and clone processes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and streamline workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Software Development Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on the ServiceNow platform.
  • ServiceNow Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Flow Designer, business rules, client/server scripts, and ACLs.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in creating catalog items, approval workflows, dynamic forms, and SLAs, as well as hands-on experience with domain separation, scoped apps, data import/export, and UI policies.
  • Integration Expertise: Proven ability to integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems, track metrics like ticket volumes, deflection rates, module usage, and SLA performance.
