Quality Engineer Role Overview
">Our team is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our ranks. This remote position involves working closely with various teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Identify and address software bugs early in the development cycle, ensuring seamless collaboration between development teams.
- Develop and implement automated tests for diverse testing scenarios across multiple country instances.
- Expand automation test coverage to facilitate early detection of bugs and risks.
- Collaborate with country distribution and core domain squads to achieve software quality objectives.
- Suggest process improvements and drive their implementation as part of our continuous improvement strategy.
- Maintain proficiency in necessary tools and components required for assigned tasks.
- Foster adherence to software development best practices and methodologies adopted by the company.
- Generate relevant documentation and guidelines to support a quality-as-everyone's-responsibility approach.
To excel in this role, you'll require:
- A strong background in automated testing, with at least 7 years of experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software development language.
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies.
- Experience in building automated test suites for build/regression testing.
- Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar tools.
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be highly valued:
- Experience in building Load/Stress Tests using tools like JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark, or similar.
- Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment.
- Experience in building tests within the context of a microservice/SOA architecture.
- Experience in testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured, or similar tools.
