Job Overview

The Staff Site Reliability Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, leveraging software engineering expertise to tackle complex system administration challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement continuous integration pipelines that build and deploy applications across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks for infrastructure as code, ensuring seamless updates and deployments.
  • Deploy and configure monitoring tools for alerting on network, systems, or application issues.
  • Lead cloud provisioning and migration efforts into AWS, establishing standards and patterns for efficient transformation.
  • Perform and automate Windows, Linux, and Database administration tasks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Provide support in performance testing using JMeter, developing test plans, scripts, and reports.
  • Coordinate testing activities, track quality assurance metrics, and write documentation related to validation activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure product components meet specifications and quality goals.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a related field, with technology leadership in one or more domains.
  • Mastery of at least one programming language and framework (Java, C#, Python).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AWS and infrastructure as code techniques using Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience working in SaaS environments, microservices architectures, and containerized services using Kubernetes and Istio.
  • Excellent communication, coding, and analytical problem-solving skills.
