We seek an accomplished and highly skilled Software Engineering Lead with a strong background in platform development and software engineering to drive technical excellence and lead the development efforts of our cutting-edge products and solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with users and new technology, and be passionate about delivering software products that users love.
Key Responsibilities
- Development & Implementation:
- Take ownership of technical architecture, lead the development team by providing direction, guidance, and mentorship, and ensure the successful execution of projects and adherence to best development practices.
- Demonstrate hands-on development expertise, actively participate in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting complex software solutions, and design and implement high-quality, scalable, and reliable software systems.
- Design and develop a scalable and robust delivery app for both mobile and web platforms, integrate e-KYC API providers for real-time KYC of our platform users, customers, and partners, and integrate telematics solutions for real-time monitoring and management of vehicle fleets.
- Implement AI/ML algorithms to optimize delivery routes, predict maintenance needs, and enhance overall efficiency, develop and integrate a CRM system to manage customer interactions, track sales, and enhance customer relationships, and ensure the platform's security, scalability, and reliability.
- Problem Solving & Optimization:
- Analyze system performance, reduce downtime through effective monitoring and optimization techniques, evaluate and recommend the best-supported technologies and architectures to meet business needs, and continuously identify areas for platform enhancement and implement effective solutions.
- Optimize CRM workflows to improve customer service and sales efficiency, prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and reports, document CRM integration processes and best practices, and communicate project status, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in platform software development, with expertise in multiple programming stacks such as MERN, NodeJS, Python, Java Spring Boot, etc.
- Proficiency in distributed systems, microservices, API design, RDBMS, NoSQL, LGTM/Observability frameworks, and public clouds (AWS, GCP).
- Experience in version control tools and technologies - GitHub, Atlassian, Gitlab, CI/CD pipelines, Containers, etc.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
