Job Overview

Seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Network Team Lead with 80% technical expertise and 20% management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, implement, maintain, and manage cloud network infrastructure using physical and software-defined networking frameworks.
  • Ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance to meet service level agreements.
  • Develop and update comprehensive infrastructure documentation for auditing, review, and maintenance purposes.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  • Oversee a team of network engineers providing guidance, evaluating team performance, and promoting professional development.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.

Requirements:

Must have at least 6-8 years of experience in data center networking with a focus on SDN technologies. Key qualifications include:

  • Strong fundamentals in WAN and routing technologies including leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC-based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, and EVPN.
  • Familiarity with security technologies including firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, and IAS.
  • Experience with network monitoring protocols and tools such as SNMP, NetFlow, Zabbix, and PRTG.
  • Good knowledge of SDN technologies preferably with hands-on experience on VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, or Cisco.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly resolve complex network issues.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and stay current with emerging trends.
