Performance Tester

This role involves designing and developing robust performance test scripts using Apache JMeter, executing end-to-end performance testing, and building dashboards for performance metrics visualization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality test scripts for performance metrics evaluation.
  • Execute comprehensive end-to-end performance testing, including requirements gathering, scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting.
  • Perform client-side performance testing using Lighthouse and Sitespeed.io.
  • Develop and maintain performance monitoring dashboards using AppDynamics, Grafana, and Kibana.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and provide valuable insights on system performance.
  • Analyze root cause of performance bottlenecks and collaborate with developers to recommend improvements.
  • Utilize LoadRunner for comparative or legacy performance testing where applicable.
  • Stay current with emerging testing tools and methodologies.

Essential Skills

  • Advanced expertise in JMeter, with proficiency in Groovy scripting, JSR223, and Selenium WebDriver integration.
  • Strong experience in performance monitoring and visualization using AppDynamics, Grafana, and Kibana.
  • Experience in AWS Cloud Monitoring via CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with Sitespeed.io, Lighthouse for client-side performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in LoadRunner.
  • Solid programming skills in SQL, Java, or Python.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience creating custom Sitespeed scripts.
  • Knowledge in performance engineering and profiling tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
