Advanced Process Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Process Control Specialist to join our team. As an APC Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and deploying advanced process control strategies that drive measurable improvements in product margins, energy efficiency, and throughput.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including technologists, control engineers, and asset operators, to troubleshoot control issues, align on process objectives, and co-create solutions that enhance asset performance.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in APC implementation in oil, gas, and chemical sectors. You will also possess proficiency in APC tools such as PACE, SMOC, DMC, Profit Suite RMPCT, etc., and familiarity with DCS systems like Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy advanced process control strategies

  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues to achieve operational stability and reduce process variability
  • Participate in quality improvement and digitalization initiatives to streamline workflows and improve data utilization
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in APC implementation in oil, gas, and chemical sectors
  • Proficiency in APC tools such as PACE, SMOC, DMC, Profit Suite RMPCT, etc.
  • Familiarity with DCS systems like Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
