Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Product Manager with strong technical aptitude and prior experience collaborating with engineering teams to deliver innovative SaaS business applications and solutions. As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the vision, developing the strategy and product roadmap, and working with the engineering teams to deliver on Milestone's feature-rich SaaS platform for marketers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive solution that solves a specific business problem or set of problems.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to understand the customer's business needs and pain points, identify gaps in the current solutions, and develop a solution that addresses those gaps.
  • Define the go-to-market strategy, pricing, and positioning of the solution.
  • Define the product capabilities for data ingestion, data security, data governance, data modeling & data analytics with metadata and API-based extensibility for Milestone Presence Cloud Platform.
  • Define the administration and setup experience for Milestone Presence Cloud Platform.
  • Work with other Milestone cloud products to light up end-to-end use cases based on data integrations.
  • Collaborate with several internal stakeholders with conflicting needs and require strong product leadership to ensure alignment, consistent design principles, and adoption from other teams.
  • Collaborate with Platform R&D teams to drive necessary platform requirements and dependencies.
  • Interact with customers across all business units and functional groups to understand pain points and collect requirements.
  • Build and own both the high-level roadmap and detailed delivery plans for Milestone Presence Cloud Platform.
  • Manage prioritization of new functionality.
  • Define success criteria for roadmap items and demonstrate measurable impact on those success metrics.
  • Evangelize MPC Platform design principles throughout the company, establish strong cross-functional relationships, influence key organization stakeholders, and lead change.
  • Serve as a product owner on the scrum team(s) and work with engineers to deliver a quality product on time.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be solution-oriented and focus on solving a problem and how the product itself interacts with other solutions.
  • Should not focus solely on product and take a more holistic approach on problem-solving.
  • Should work cross-functionally with other teams and align on key strategies, encompassing all the components of a solution.
  • Expertise in building a cloud service from scratch and scaling it to millions of users.
  • A deep understanding of building App Platforms, including metadata, custom objects & fields, APIs, and setup.
  • Experience building data-driven products required.
  • Experience with Applied ML/AI solutions desired.
  • Able to communicate deep knowledge of product development and dive into more data flow, process, etc.
  • Understanding of secure software development lifecycle from coding to deployment.
  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute a plan.
  • Well-developed management and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others.
  • Excellent organization and communications skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer escalations.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as per below details:
  • Proven track record of working in an engineering role initially (minimum 2 years) and later transitioned into a product management role (minimum 4 years).
  • Combined experience of working in engineering teams and in product management with expertise in SaaS or PaaS environments.
