We're seeking a highly skilled Data Science professional to drive portfolio health, risk optimization, and customer growth strategies. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights and machine learning techniques to develop cutting-edge credit risk models and scalable solutions for smarter lending decisions.

You will work at the intersection of finance, data science, and technology, directly contributing to risk management, credit scoring, underwriting strategies, fraud detection, and long-term financial risk analysis. This is a high-impact position where your expertise will influence business outcomes and drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced risk models, including scorecards, regression models, decision trees, ensemble methods, and other machine learning algorithms.
  • Support credit decisioning frameworks by delivering robust analytics and ensuring data-driven portfolio risk management.
  • Leverage programming languages, SQL, and statistical modeling to create scalable risk solutions for large datasets.
  • Collaborate with risk, credit, product, and technology teams to ensure accurate model validation, monitoring, and business alignment.
  • Evaluate, calibrate, and monitor models to ensure compliance, accuracy, and predictive power over time.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and financial risk practices, and apply them to improve existing solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, financial analytics, or risk modeling.
  • Proven expertise in programming languages, SQL, and advanced statistical techniques.
  • Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Prior exposure to credit scoring, consumer lending, or financial risk analytics is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
