Job Title: Investment Strategist

Job Description:

The role of the Investment Strategist involves formulating and executing comprehensive investment plans to optimize returns on deployed funds. This entails meticulous analysis of company dynamics, sector trends, and financial models to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned companies through detailed financial modeling and ongoing monitoring.
  • Examine financial reports, including balance sheets and cash flow statements, to inform investment decisions.
  • Analyze financial statements and develop investment theses when required.
  • Conduct market and portfolio analysis to support equity investment decisions.
  • Provide continuous coverage on allocated industry sectors and individual stocks, monitoring earning results and corporate actions.
  • Analyze macro events and their potential effects on stock movements and directions.
  • Liaise with investment back-office teams to ensure timely trade processing.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in the regulatory environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • CA or Full-time MBA Finance with a minimum of 8-12 years of experience.
  • Working experience with SAP.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Listening skills to coordinate efforts across multiple stakeholders.
