We are seeking a seasoned Web Development Manager to lead and mentor our team of developers, overseeing full-cycle web development projects with a focus on PHP frameworks and WordPress.

This role is responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) and WordPress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of web developers and project managers
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution from requirement gathering to delivery ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to best practices
  • Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and project management
  • Conduct regular code reviews and performance evaluations for the development team
  • Utilize project management methodologies to track deliverables, manage risks, and drive efficiency

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification highly preferred
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile/Scrum project management experience
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
