Compliance Specialist

This is a highly responsible and challenging position within our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with various regulations and laws related to employment in the Asia Pacific Region.

Key responsibilities include:

">
  • Maintaining awareness of and tracking new legislation and regulatory requirements;
  • Building cross-functional partnerships and collaboration at all levels across the People and Legal teams to address compliance requirements;
  • Developing and implementing ongoing audit processes and internal controls;
  • Establishing and operationalizing reporting governance to accurately maintain data meeting the needs of global reporting requirements;
  • Supervising the effectiveness of processes designed to meet obligations and developing remediation plans to mitigate risk.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • 6 years of HR or employment and labor law experience;
  • Global experience and specialization in compliance is highly preferred;
  • Subject matter expertise in regulatory areas and with the various laws that impact HR;
  • Working knowledge of APAC employment laws in India and familiarity with employment laws in other APAC countries;
  • Demonstrated judgment and experience assessing risk;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and social skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
