**Job Title:** Datacenter Project Success Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with servers, storage, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Nutanix), and data protection tools (e.g., Commvault, Veeam, Dell DPS).
  • Basic understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud setups and integration with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Practical expertise in virtualization (VMware) and exposure to hyper-converged infrastructures (Nutanix).
  • Experience in implementing and managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks using tools like Fortinet and Checkpoint.
  • Ability to implement pre-defined architectures and contribute to design discussions.

2. Project Execution:

  • Ensure successful delivery of datacenter solutions, meeting project timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for implementations, configurations, and customer-specific solutions.
  • Proactively identify and address potential project risks and issues.
  • Follow established methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) for project execution.

3. Customer Interaction:

  • Support pre-sales teams in assessing customer infrastructure and needs.
  • Provide direct technical support to resolve issues during and after project deployment.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach to ensure high satisfaction levels through quality delivery and support.

4. Reporting and Metrics:

  • Track and report project performance, including status updates, milestones achieved, and challenges encountered.
  • Collaborate with team leads to ensure alignment with broader practice goals.

5. Certification and Learning:

  • Pursue and maintain certifications relevant to datacenter technologies (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Nutanix Certified Professional, Fortinet NSE).
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in datacenter technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in datacenter technologies and cloud environments, with hands-on experience in implementation and support.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and delivering projects on time.
  • Team player who works effectively with internal teams and external customers.
