Job Description:

  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing feedback and guidance to help them grow in their roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong design vision and creative direction.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design initiatives.
  • Conduct research, user testing, and design iterations to ensure that designs are user-friendly, intuitive, and effective.
  • Presentation of design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design technology.
  • Project management and coordination of integrated projects requiring digital, print, events, media, and social media components.
  • Experience as an art director. Strong knowledge of photography, video production, Interactive PDFs and client pitch/proposal.
  • Development of creative briefs based on brainstorming sessions, with direction, schedules, and deliverables for the creative team.
  • Oversight of project design and production, reporting potential disputes, changing requirements, or delays in a timely manner, and reviewing project performance.
  • Creation and maintenance of high-quality visual content for the company brand in both digital and print communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in visual communications, graphic design or art school with a significant equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong creative vision and visual arts skills with an established portfolio of business-to-business print and digital marketing collateral.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain design decisions in writing.
  • Demonstrable ability to work proactively and autonomously, being accountable for own decisions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas through written, drawn, and verbal means.
  • Positive people management skills.
