Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern Java capabilities and hands-on experience with functional programming, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment patterns.

This role requires a deep understanding of event-driven architectures, including Kafka, and cloud-native development. The successful candidate will be able to design and implement microservices using modern Java functional programming concepts and collaborate on event-driven systems.

The key responsibilities of this role include designing and implementing microservices, collaborating on event-driven systems, participating in code reviews and design discussions, and developing and deploying applications in the cloud.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in Core Java and functional programming, as well as experience with newer Java features. They will also have proficiency in immutable data structures, pure functions, and clean code principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Core Java and functional programming.

  • Hands-on experience with Kafka or other message brokers in an event-driven architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices design patterns.
