Job Overview

This Radiology role involves overseeing various diagnostic imaging processes, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, MRI, mammography, DEXA, and fluoroscopy. The successful candidate will interpret images, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to treating physicians.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Radiology professional will be involved in interventional radiology procedures such as FNAC, biopsies, drainages, and image-guided catheter placements. They will also ensure the proper functioning of imaging equipment, coordinate with radiology technicians, and maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and observational skills, proficiency in interpreting cross-sectional and conventional imaging, and expertise in using PACS, RIS, and hospital EMR systems. A commitment to patient safety and data confidentiality is essential.

Key Qualifications
  • MBBS + MD / DNB in Radiology / Radio-Diagnosis
  • Valid registration with State or National Medical Council

The following qualifications are desirable:

  • Fellowship in a sub-specialty: Neuro-Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Breast Imaging, etc.
  • Experience in high-end imaging technologies (3T MRI, PET-CT, etc.)
  • Teaching or academic experience (for faculty positions)

  • Strong analytical and observational skills
  • Proficiency in interpreting cross-sectional and conventional imaging
  • Skilled in using PACS, RIS, and hospital EMR systems
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to handle high-volume workloads with accuracy
