Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Expert

As a seasoned professional, you will oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of OpenStack infrastructure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures that business requirements are translated into scalable and reliable solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of OpenStack components, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Deployment
  1. Deploy, configure, and manage OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
Storage Management
  1. Design, deploy, and maintain Ceph storage clusters, guaranteeing high availability and optimal performance.
  2. Manage block storage (Cinder), file storage (Manila), and object storage (such as Ceph RGW/S3, Swift, or equivalent).
Performance Optimization
  1. Maintain and optimize OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Containerized Applications
  1. Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Automation and Integration
  1. Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  2. Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
Cloud-Native Solutions
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
Incident Management
  1. Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.
  2. Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
  3. Support capacity planning, incident management, and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
