Job Opportunity:

As a skilled professional, you will lead the development of interior cockpit systems ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and high quality. The role involves strategic leadership, project management, and technical expertise to deliver vehicle programs on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead cross-functional engineering meetings to ensure input from relevant areas.
  • Progress design maturity from concept to Engineering Sign-Off and design gateways.
  • Maintain project plans aligned to vehicle programs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of systems, sub-systems, and components.
  • Define engineering targets to meet function, quality, and attribute requirements for vehicle programs.
  • Develop and maintain design validation plans, including in-house and supplier testing plans.
  • Lead Failure Mode Avoidance activities, including DFMEA, quality history reviews, and DFA/DFM reviews.

Requirements:

  • Proven project management capability demonstrated by recent delivery within time, cost, quality, and attribute targets.
  • Extensive experience in right-first-time development and integration of cockpit console commodities and interior trims.
  • Detailed engineering knowledge of design, function, performance, production, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability to manage and challenge system, sub-system, and component costs through utilization of engineering knowledge and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrable ability to communicate with cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Automotive Engineering.
