Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Analyst.

This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals who are passionate about climate solutions, venture capital, and sustainable innovation. As an Analyst, you will play a crucial part in supporting our investment team in sourcing opportunities, conducting market research, and assisting in deal execution and portfolio management.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Investment Research and Sourcing Support: Assist in identifying potential investment opportunities through research and preliminary outreach.
  • Due Diligence Assistance: Support the team in financial analysis, market validation, and data collection for potential deals.
  • Investment Process Support: Help prepare investment memos, presentations, and supporting documentation.
  • Portfolio Support: Assist in tracking performance and impact metrics and conducting basic analyses for portfolio companies.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct sectoral research to inform investment theses and track trends in climate tech and sustainability.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Assist in coordinating our presence at industry events and building databases of relevant ecosystem players.
Qualifications and Attributes

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or related fields from a premier institution.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or startup roles; climate-focused work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills specific to early-stage investments.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Passion for climate innovation and sustainability.
