Senior Institutional Investment Operations Representative

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to perform various operational tasks for complex institutional trades or process extensive knowledge of systems. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of operational tasks for complex institutional trades or process extensive knowledge of systems
  • Provide innovative ideas for improving or implementing processes
  • Process moderately complex duties such as processing, researching inquires, and reconciling transactions
  • Review time-sensitive documents with precision and accuracy
  • Provide guidance and work direction to less experienced staff
  • Support audit requirements within the process
  • Address compliance and corporate governance issues for the department
  • Lead or participate in projects that drive business growth and improvement
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal and external customers as per prescribed process or procedure
  • Identify and drive process re-engineering or transformation opportunities within the process
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
  • Ability to research and report on a variety of issues
  • Demonstration of making effective decisions based on limited information and awareness of when to obtain further assistance/clarification as necessary
  • MBA or Graduate in Finance
  • 4+ years of Derivative Collateral Management margin experience
  • Understanding of Derivatives trade life cycle and associated functions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
