About this Role :

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Procurement team as an Associate Manager/ Manager.

Responsibilities :

  • Receive and review purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and payment terms are met.
  • Manage cash flow by maintaining accurate records of costs incurred on projects.
  • Compare quotations from vendors and present recommendations to management.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure release of advances and running payments to vendors.
  • Monitor material delivery schedules, following up with vendors as necessary.
  • Ensure all work is done safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Support the Tender/BD team in costing of upcoming projects and monitoring overall operations.
  • Implement and document procurement systems, managing commercial activities relating to contracts, equipment, and other related activities.
  • Liaise with site project management to minimize communication gaps between departments.
  • Develop relationships with vendors, contractors, and architects.
  • Manage inventory and track expenses, providing regular reports to management.
  • Maintain proper documentation of procurements, including payments against orders placed and inventory levels.

Qualifications :

  • A Graduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant field, with 7-10 years of experience in Procurement.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and product applications.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Analytics software.

  • Understanding of products, functions, application parts, and manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process & Raw-Material.
