Lead Oracle Database Administrator Role

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator to lead our database team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of our database infrastructure.

Candidates should have extensive experience in Grid Installation and Upgradation, as well as expertise in Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, and Dataguard. Knowledge of Golden Gate is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement database architecture strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex performance issues.
  • Leverage expertise in Oracle RAC to design and deploy high-availability solutions.
  • Analyze and optimize database performance using SQL tuning skills.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across the infrastructure layer, from SQL to application to system to storage.
  • Provide expert guidance on HA features and backup recovery options for Oracle databases.
  • Work effectively under pressure in production environments on various operating systems.
Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least 18 years of relevant experience, preferably in Telecom or BFSI industries. Mandatory skills include RAC (Installation, Upgradation, and Management), database backup and recovery, and DB migration and performance tuning.
