Advanced Chemistry Expert

We are seeking a skilled and analytical individual with a strong foundation in chemistry to work on projects that involve fine-tuning large language models.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD-level program in chemistry, comparable to the level required for engineering entrance exams. They should be able to break down complex chemistry problems into simple, clear explanations and work efficiently.

  • They would spend time solving a variety of advanced chemistry problems, including those at the undergraduate and graduate level, and creating detailed explanations.

Day-to-day activities may include:

  • Analyzing and explaining the steps in a complex organic reaction mechanism, providing both textual explanations and annotated chemical structures.
  • Solving a problem involving chemical equilibrium, accompanied by visual representations of reaction progress and energy diagrams, and explain the process using both text and visual aids.
Requirements
  • PhD degree in Chemistry or related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative thinking and excellent communication skills.
