Sustainability and Compliance Expert

Your future role within our organization is to lead the EHS function on-site, ensuring the implementation of policies and continuous improvement of EHS results. Day-to-day, you will work closely with teams across the business (operations, HR, medical partners), drive risk assessments, develop emergency plans, and more.

• You will be responsible for developing the site EHS management system and ensuring compliance, while actively developing the site's EHS culture.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Support site management in achieving top-tier EHS results
• Drive the implementation of EHS policy and improvement plans
• Mobilize and coordinate teams to meet objectives
• Evaluate and conduct thorough EHS Risk Assessments
• Control subcontractor activities concerning EHS
• Have the authority to halt operations in case of immediate risks

• An engineering degree and a recognized Health & Safety Qualification
• A minimum 15+ years proven experience in EHS, preferably in manufacturing or automobile sector
• Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools
• A certification in environmental management (desired)
• Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities
