Technicolor Games is a leading developer of triple A games, and we're seeking a talented Visual Effects Artist to join our team. As a mid-level artist, you'll have the opportunity to work on some of the most ambitious and creatively rewarding projects in the industry.
About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced FX Artist with a strong background in Unreal/Unity, Photoshop, Maya, and Houdini. If you have a passion for creating believable lifelike performances and are proficient in Blueprint/Visual scripting, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create stunning visual effects for triple A titles on console platforms
- Work closely with designers and animators to ensure seamless integration of FX into the game world
- Develop and maintain high-quality FX assets, including shaders, textures, and animations
- Collaborate with other artists and engineers to resolve technical issues and improve overall quality
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in the video game industry as a mid-level FX Artist
- Proficient in Unreal/Unity, Photoshop, Maya, and Houdini
- Strong understanding of animation principles and character physics
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A portfolio that showcases your creative vision and technical skills
Bonus Requirements:
- Experience with Nuke or other compositing software
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, C++)
- Familiarity with episodic FX tools
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
