Job Opportunity:

Peptide Synthesis Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Peptide Synthesis expert to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing peptide synthesis strategies using solid-phase and solution-phase approaches.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and execute peptide synthesis experiments using manual and automated synthesizers.
    • Develop and implement novel peptide synthesis methods.
    • Characterize and optimize peptide purity and quality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies.
    • Write and publish scientific papers and present research findings at conferences.

  • Requirements:

    • A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field is required.
    • Proven experience in peptide synthesis, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting, is essential.
    • Strong understanding of chemical principles and techniques is crucial.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is vital.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hybrid technologies and molecular hijacking would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of process development and scale-up of peptide pharmaceuticals is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
