Investment Banking Analyst

About this critical role:

You will play a key part in driving transactions and delivering financial advisory services for clients across Asia, with a focus on India domestic deals.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile transactions, develop key relationships with clients, collaborate with our globally renowned consumer and Industrial sector team, and contribute to the growth and success of our investment banking franchise in India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop sophisticated financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support transaction execution.
  • Manage due diligence processes, communications, and interaction with deal team members and other advisors.
  • Conduct comprehensive and in-depth industry and market research, and company analysis within the consumer and Industrial industry.
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, presentations, and marketing materials for client meetings.
  • Collaborate with senior team members in transaction origination, structuring, and negotiation.
  • Support the execution of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and capital raising activities, and other financial transactions.
Requirements:
  • Post graduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, working on consumer and Industrial transactions.
  • Solid understanding of the consumer and Industrial sector.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.
