BIM Specialist

Our team seeks a skilled BIM Specialist to enhance our computational design workflows and streamline BIM processes. The successful candidate will extract, process, and visualize BIM data to support informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting with at least 5 years of industry experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Dynamo and Grasshopper, with a proven track record in project implementation.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Grasshopper, Dynamo, C#, and Python for BIM automation.
  • Autodesk Revit Certified Professional certification is preferred.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing interoperability workflows between platforms, automating BIM modeling tasks, and ensuring QA/QC of BIM models. They will also implement and maintain custom scripts and tools to streamline design and documentation processes.

As a key member of our team, the BIM Specialist will collaborate with engineering and BIM teams to develop and execute BIM Execution Plans (BEPs). They will also oversee the adoption of best practices for BIM and computational design tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing computational design workflows to enhance BIM processes.
  2. Extracting, processing, and visualizing BIM data to support informed decision-making.
  3. Developing interoperability workflows between platforms.
  4. Automating BIM modeling tasks and optimizing workflows.
  5. Implementing and maintaining custom scripts and tools.
  6. Collaborating with engineering and BIM teams.
  7. Ensuring compliance with BIM guidelines and industry standards.
