Job Description

The SOC Analyst - L2 plays a pivotal role in safeguarding an organization's digital assets by monitoring and analyzing security log data from diverse security devices. This position demands in-depth knowledge of security concepts, such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident validation, analysis, and resolution to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Developing and implementing effective solutions to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base and serving as an escalation point for device issue resolution.
  • Patching security systems, managing rule bases, and overseeing general SOC administration to maintain optimal performance.
  • Optimizing and scaling SOC systems to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is essential for success in this role.
  • Certifications such as CEH, CCNA Security, and SIEM technical certification are highly valued.
  • At least three years of experience in cybersecurity and SOC operations are required.
  • Proficiency in Incident Management and Response is crucial for prompt and effective response to security incidents.
