Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at UPS India. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply software engineering principles to design, develop, and test software applications and systems.
  • Provide systems life cycle management to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of technical solutions.
  • Research and support the integration of emerging technologies.
  • Develop and maintain complex software applications and systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance.
  • Define application complexity drivers, estimate development efforts, create milestones, and track progress towards completion.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices.
  • Knowledge of DevOps toolset, including CI/CD tools, version control, and source code management.
  • Experience with infrastructure maintenance, including Qualys, vulnerability analysis, and remediation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms.
  • Knowledge of security compliance and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with project management and agile methodologies.
