Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Technical Lead to oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our database systems.

  • Develops PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages to support development efforts.
  • Reviews existing code for changes, performance, tuning improvements.
  • Analyzes query execution plans to optimize queries for speed and resource utilization.
  • Liaises with developers, system administrators, data analysts to support database needs.
  • Ensures high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
  • Identifies and resolves database issues to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

The Database Technical Lead will:

  • Implement new business features based on requirement specification and technical design.
  • Fix bugs in existing applications reported by clients or internal testers.
  • Refactor existing code to improve maintainability and efficiency.
  • Participate in creating internal business specifications and technical designs.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL.
  • 6-10 years' experience in database administration and leadership.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
