At Lam Research, you’ll be part of a team that drives advancements integral to the design and development of our products. As a Project Engineer, you’ll own projects to develop, optimize and implement product/process improvement solutions, collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams to achieve project deliverables and goals.

The Impact You’ll Make

As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to execute engineering projects, leveraging your technical expertise and strategic insight to deliver enhanced products. Your focus on continuous improvement in the development lifecycle will be pivotal in driving advancements that make a difference.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driving concurrent engineering projects involving fluid systems, fabricated & machined components/assemblies based on DFX skills
  • Expertise in Sheet metal manufacturing processes and material selection
  • Experience in design for manufacturing & assembly
  • Experience in design for serviceability
  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables
  • Experience in OEM component selection (mechanical parts)
  • Exposure in plastic materials, plastic manufacturing processes (machining and jointing / traditional / additive mfg)
  • Exposure to structural and thermal design validation through FEA and theoretical calculations
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and decision-making ability by applying structured process or tools such as 8Ds, Fishbone, 5 Whys, Pugh matrix, Pareto chart, etc.
  • Demonstrations of owning and driving team KPI’s
  • Exposure to department engineering process flows & actions to meet requirements

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge on 3D modeling, assembly, and detailing using NX or any CAD software
  • Knowledge on semiconductor equipment and its sub-systems
