The Billing Engineer Elv is responsible for managing the financial aspects of ELV projects, including cost estimation, project management, and quantity surveying. They will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that budget plans align with field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of all financial transactions related to ELV projects.
  • Conduct cost analysis and oversee budget management to ensure projects adhere to financial goals.
  • Generate accurate bills of quantities and ensure correct reporting of project progress and expenditures.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align budget plans with field operations.
  • Review and verify contractor invoices ensuring compliance with the agreed contract terms.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any billing issues.
  • Maintain an updated database of ELV materials, pricing, and sources for cost-effective procurement.
  • Provide support for technical audits and quality inspections of ELV installations.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in ELV systems design demonstrating a deep understanding of engineering principles and best practices.
  2. Strong skills in cost estimation to produce accurate budgets and forecasts for ELV projects.
  3. Excellent project management capabilities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed technical drawings and plans.
  5. Experience in quantity surveying to measure and value work executed on site.
  6. Knowledge of contract management to handle agreements with vendors, clients, and subcontractors effectively.
  7. Strong technical documentation skills for preparing comprehensive project reports and specifications.
  8. Effective vendor management skills to maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure timely procurement of materials.
