Industrial Safety Leader

Are you a seasoned professional looking to lead and manage occupational health and safety initiatives? We are seeking an experienced and skilled EHS Supervisor to join our team.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to ensure a safe working environment across various manufacturing shops, yards, and other areas. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting daily safety rounds to identify potential hazards and reporting observations to area in-charges for corrective actions.
- Stopping and correcting at-risk behaviors and unsafe conditions, as well as EHS-related non-compliances.
- Implementing and enforcing safe work practices and work permit systems to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Investigating incidents, including near misses, first aid injuries, lost time injuries, and fire incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
- Providing safety training and coordinating mock drills to ensure employees are equipped to handle emergency situations.
- Carrying out safety audits and inspections as per the safety plan and maintaining records of findings.
- Verifying and monitoring routine and non-routine activities, checking work permit requirements for hot work, working at height, excavation, and open field radiography.
- Conducting Safety Toolbox talks, Hazard Identification rounds, BBS rounds, monthly counseling, and review JSAs, HIRACs, OCPs, Legal Register, ERP, and other system documents periodically.
- Facilitating mitigation measures in case of emergencies, including communication and coordination with QRT and Medical Teams, rescue operations, firefighting, and first aid requirements.
- Organizing safety motivational programs and campaigns on various occasions.
- Conducting departmental safety committee meetings and maintaining minutes of meetings (MOMs).
- Performing quarterly internal inspections and yearly legal inspections of lifting tools, lifting machines, and pressure vessels.
- Carrying out all EHS-related tasks assigned by management.
