Senior Technical Architect - Payment Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to lead the development of payment solutions. As a key member of our team, you will drive technical direction and ensure the delivery of robust and futuristic payment systems.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API development, microservices architecture, and retail banking. You will be responsible for creating roadmaps, designing solution architectures, and delivering solutions that meet security and governance standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing technical strategies and roadmaps for payment solutions.
  • Designing and delivering solution architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Leveraging knowledge of ISO8583 messaging standards, encryption, and HSM protocols to ensure secure data processing.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to manage vendor relationships and financial management.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks through contingency planning and ensuring compliance with PCI DSS and PA DSS standards.
  • Maintaining knowledge of emerging payment technologies, including Google Pay/Samsung Pay/Apple Pay Wallets and QR Code.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in API development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with EFT transaction switching and processing.
  • Familiarity with EMV Contact/Contactless, VISA, and MasterCard Card Issuing & Acquiring, Scheme compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., waterfall, Agile).
  • Excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT area.
  • 8-15 years of experience in software development and architecture.
