Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
- Monitor financial performance, identifying areas for cost optimization and operational improvements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure a smooth annual audit process.
- Lead, train, and mentor the accounting team to maintain high-performance standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting with managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
