Job Title: Workplace Standard Auditor and Trainer

The Responsible Mica Initiative is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Workplace Standard Auditor & Trainer. The successful candidate will support the growth of RMI's activities in India and strengthen RMI's support to upstream supply chain actors located in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh in their journey towards sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish gap assessments of India mica processors and mica mines versus RMI's Global Workplace Standard (GWS)
  • Create Corrective Action Plans with processors and mine owners
  • Support processors and mine owners in implementing CAP and follow up on progress
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocol for RMI members
  • Liaise with RMI accredited external auditing companies
  • Develop training content for auditors on RMI standards and conduct online or face-to-face training
  • Perform quality checks on audit reports
  • Analyze audit data and build presentations for team and members
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess strong analytical capabilities and ability for quick appropriation of topics
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills, rigorousness, and capacity to foster effective teamwork
  • Fluency in English and Hindi
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in International Development, Business, Engineer/Mining or Social Auditing, with demonstrated experience in supply chain social and environmental auditing, sustainability standards, and mining standards. Experience of multi-stakeholder projects' coordination and monitoring, facilitating training sessions, and working in Rajasthan/or with Rajasthan stakeholders is a plus.
