UI/UX Design Lead

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Inspire: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of designers, leading creative sessions and fostering a learning environment.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams including Business Development, Developers, and Project Managers, ensuring alignment on design goals.
  • User-Centered Design: Create designs through research, competitor analysis, and understanding of technical constraints and opportunities.
  • Design Creation: Rapidly develop user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas for new features.
  • Industry Insight: Stay up to date with the latest design trends, competitor products, and industry standards to incorporate best practices into the design process.
  • Collaboration with Development: Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented to the highest standards, reviewing development to ensure design fidelity.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Conduct at least one major training session each quarter for the design team.
  • Successfully design a minimum of 2 websites and 2-3 landing pages per year.

Skills and Expertise Required:

  • 5-6 years of experience in UI/UX design, specifically in the B2C sector.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, back-end development logic, and SEO principles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in prototyping, wireframing, visual design, and user research.
  • Experience in B2C design projects is a must.
