Lead Solar EPC Engineer

This role is a critical part of our solar EPC project team, responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving engineering designs and drawings prepared by external consultants.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with applicable standards, optimization for cost and performance, and smooth integration with project execution.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Review and validate drawings, designs, and engineering documents submitted by consultants (including SLDs, GA drawings, layouts, and equipment sizing).
- Evaluate designs for constructability, safety, and long-term performance.
- Verify PVsyst reports, energy yield assessments, and equipment selection.
- Key Performance Indicators:
- Timely technical approvals of consultant deliverables.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and statutory bodies for design clarifications and approvals.
- Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Power/Renewable Energy (M.Tech preferred).
- 10–15 years of experience in solar EPC projects, with significant exposure to design review and approvals.
- Strong knowledge of PV system design (DC & AC side), grid connectivity, substation interface, and protection systems.
Key Skills include strong design review and quality-checking ability, deep understanding of solar PV engineering standards, and excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
