Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented legal professional to join our team as a Litigation Associate. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the legal and compliance domains, working closely with internal stakeholders to mitigate contractual risks and optimize terms protecting the organization's interests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management & Legal Documentation:
    • You will review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Conduct legal research and support briefs and reports preparation.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and protect the organization's interests.
  • Compliance:
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Stay updated on legal developments, assess their impact, and provide guidance to the team.
    • Respond to regulatory inquiries and audits.
    • Collaborate with departments to ensure company-wide compliance.
    • Manage statutory registers and records.
    • Organize board and committee meetings, ensuring compliance requirements.
    • Handle filings with regulatory authorities.
  • Corporate Governance:
    • Support corporate governance matters, including board resolutions and meeting minutes.
    • Maintain proper corporate records and documentation.
  • Risk Mitigation:
    • Identify potential legal and regulatory risks, proactively assess their impact, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Processes and Communications:
    • Execute legal and compliance tasks efficiently and in line with best practices.
    • Draft legal documents and maintain clear communication within the legal team and other departments.
    • Bridge communication between the legal team and other departments.
    • Organize and document meetings related to legal and compliance issues.
  • General Support:
    • Provide general legal support to the legal and compliance team.
    • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
