Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations and drive results. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of operational processes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to design and implement customized solutions.

  • Operational Leadership: Manage and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to policies, compliance, and safety standards.
  • P&L Management: Own warehouse P&L including budgeting, cost control, productivity, and profitability.
  • Solutioning & Process Improvement: Design and implement operational solutions for customers, optimize layouts, manpower planning, and material handling systems.
  • Customer Management: Build relationships with key customers; ensure SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate the operations team to deliver high performance and service excellence.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10–15 years of experience in warehouse operations & logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. They will possess strong expertise in P&L management, operations design, and customer solutioning, as well as in-depth knowledge of warehousing processes, local compliances, and labor regulations.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouses / multi-client facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
