Required Experience: 3+ years in digital content creation, preferably with focus on video storytelling.

About the Position:

We seek a highly skilled and self-driven Video Storyteller who can manage all aspects of ideation, scripting, and production.

Working closely with writers, editors, designers, and the strategy team will be key to creating compelling content that builds viewership and subscriber growth.

This role is ideal for someone deeply passionate about video storytelling, knowledgeable about what works (and what doesn't) on YouTube, and dedicated to crafting thumb-stopping content that balances storytelling, trends, and SEO.

Responsibilities:

  1. Idea Generation: Develop original video concepts tailored to the brand's niche and audience through trend analysis and competitor research.
  2. Scripting & Storytelling: Craft engaging scripts that combine storytelling, education, and entertainment - optimized for viewer retention.
  3. End-to-End Video Production: Oversee the process from ideation to execution, including scripting, filming, editing oversight, and publishing.
  4. Project Coordination: Coordinate with editors, designers, voiceover artists, and other collaborators to ensure timely and high-quality video delivery.
  5. YouTube Optimization: Write effective titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails that resonate with the target audience.
  6. Performance Analysis: Track video metrics and retention analytics. Use data to inform decisions and drive improvements in future content.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in video content creation or digital storytelling, preferably for YouTube.
  2. Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills.
  3. Deep understanding of YouTube's algorithm, SEO principles, analytics, and audience psychology.
  4. Familiarity with video production techniques (camera work, editing knowledge, lighting, audio) is a plus.
  5. Proficiency with tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Notion, Frame.io, etc.
  6. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualities:

  1. Previous experience owning and managing successful YouTube channels or scaling them for brands/creators.
  2. Ability to wear multiple hats across scripting, filming, and editing.
  3. Experience working with influencer/content creator teams.
  4. Understanding of virality, trend cycles, and online culture.
