Smartsheet Administrator

Job Description:

We seek an experienced Smartsheet Administrator to design, build and maintain advanced reporting solutions. This role requires hands-on experience integrating Smartsheet with Jira and leveraging advanced features for business intelligence, process automation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dashboard Development: Create and optimize Smartsheet dashboards and forms to provide clear business insights and streamline data collection.
  • Integration Management: Configure and manage Smartsheet–Jira integrations for seamless project tracking and reporting.
  • Reporting Solutions: Develop and maintain advanced Smartsheet reports for analytics, KPIs and executive-level visibility.
  • Platform Administration: Administer and manage the Smartsheet platform, including users, groups, workspaces and access controls.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Smartsheet solutions.
  • Workflows and Automation: Implement and manage automated workflows, notifications and approvals within Smartsheet.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure governance, security and compliance best practices across Smartsheet environments.
  • User Support: Provide training and support to users, ensuring effective adoption of dashboards, forms and reporting capabilities.
  • Analytics Enhancement: Explore opportunities to enhance reporting and analytics using Smartsheet's advanced features (Data Mesh, Control Center, Resource Management).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Smartsheet: Strong expertise in Smartsheet dashboards, forms and reporting capabilities.
  • Integration Experience: Hands-on experience with Smartsheet–Jira integrations (native connector or third-party tools).
  • Reporting Ability: Proven ability to design advanced reporting solutions for leadership and operational teams.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Smartsheet Administrator or advanced power user.
  • Best Practices: Knowledge of Smartsheet automation, governance and data management best practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in reporting.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
